Not medical advice

MCAS Lookupshares general information drawn from public drug labels and published research. It is not medical advice, doesn't diagnose or treat any condition, and doesn't replace a conversation with your doctor, pharmacist or other qualified health professional. Using the site doesn't create a doctor–patient or pharmacist–patient relationship.

Please don't start, stop or switch a medication, or change how you take it, based on this site. Bring what you find here to your prescriber or pharmacist and decide together.

How to read the information

• Everyone with MCAS is different. An ingredient we point out may never bother you, and a product with nothing noted may still cause a reaction.
• Our ingredient lists come from labels published by the FDA and the National Library of Medicine. Manufacturers can change ingredients before those labels are updated, so always check the package insert for the product you actually receive.
• Our notes about ingredients summarize published research and the views of MCAS specialists and organizations. Research in this area is limited and evolving, and our summaries may be incomplete or out of date.
• Other manufacturers we list may not be available from your pharmacy or covered by your insurance.

The site and its information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the site will be available, error-free, or that the third-party data it relies on is correct.

Neither agency is responsible for this site or endorses it. We also link to research papers and MCAS organizations; we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.
